RO Units

RO Units

Reverse osmosis units, or RO units, are used to produce incredibly clean water that has had nearly all contaminants removed. A reverse osmosis unit works by pushing water through a semipermeable membrane, thereby applying pressure and forcing any pollutants out. Many people use RO units because it can improve the taste and appearance of water, making it much more enjoyable to drink.

Reverse osmosis units come in different sizes according to the number of gallons per day they are able to purify. When choosing an RO unit, you’ll need to determine how many units of water will need to pass through it, on average, each day. At Finest Filters, we stock several RO units with various capacities. Our smallest system is the 50gpd 4 Stage Complete RO Reverse Osmosis Unit, which comes complete with accessories to install it correctly. We also have a compact 75gpd 3 Stage Compact Reverse Osmosis Unit for those whose water consumption is at the lower end of the scale.

Larger RO units at Finest Filters include the 400gpd Reverse Osmosis Booster Unit with three pre filters also supplied. To really maximise the capability of your reverse osmosis unit, you can add on a membrane upgrade kit. These kits increase the amount of water that can be purified and also help to reduce unnecessary waste water. If you are considering a reverse osmosis unit and are not sure where to start, please contact us for more information and we can talk you through the available models and find which one will work for you.
