A pond hose clip is a must-have if you’re planning to connect a pond hose to a filter or UVC. Finest Filters has several styles and sizes of hose clip to suit your needs; whether you’re looking for a jubilee hose clip or double wire hose clip, we can help.
When using any kind of pond hose, there is always a risk of leaks from the hose tail. A hose clip prevents this from happening by securing the hose onto the relevant piece of pond equipment. The number of pond hose clips required and the size of your pond hose clip will vary according to the equipment they are being used for and the diameter of the hose they are being fitted onto. This is why we sell a selection of hose clip sizes. You’ll also find size charts on each of our hose clip product pages to help you find the right one for your needs.
Whether you’re choosing a worm drive hose clip (also referred to as a jubilee hose clip), or you wish to buy a double wire hose clip, all of our hose clips are made from stainless steel. This is because stainless steel hose clips do not corrode when in contact with water and will therefore last a long time.
If you’re using pond hose clips to attach a pond hose to a filter, at least two hose clips will be necessary. When connecting an ultra violet clarifier (UVC) you may need up to four clips. Check the specific requirements of the equipment you are using before purchasing your hose clips.
