Sunsun HW-5000 4600l/h External Canister Filter Fish Tank Aquarium with UV + Flow Control

The SunSun HW-5000 is one of the newest canister filters from SunSun that is easy to set up and simple to use. The HW-5000 features a removable DC pump with SINE wave technology which is more energy efficient than regular canister pumps. The ceramic impeller is more durable and can be used with freshwater and saltwater aquariums alike. This model includes a detachable smart digital controller which allows users to adjust the water flow rate and UV sterilizer's "ON" time. The HW-5000 has a controllable built-in 9W UV steriliser, which is perfect for keeping algae away from your aquarium.

The smart controller allows the flow rate to be adjusted to one of the following settings:

1800 litres per hour - 10w power consumption

2300 litres per hour - 15w power consumption

2800 litres per hour - 20w power consumption

3300 litres per hour - 25w power consumption

3800 litres per hour - 30w power consumption

4200 litres per hour - 35w power consumption 4600 litres per hour - 40w power consumption

The new HW-5000 require no priming to start. Simply fill both intake and outtake tubes with tank water, plug in the power and water will start moving. The HW-5000 includes 3 very large media baskets that are easy to clean. Big media baskets provide users the ability to add large amount of different filter media (not included). The filter also has a bottom drain hole with valve to allow for easy maintenance. The outlet tube is fitted with an optional spray-bar to help increase oxygen aeration levels within your tank.

These filters are ideal for freeing-up space within your tank and provide a huge internal capacity for filter media, making them suitable for larger volume tanks. The built in UV steriliser exposes passing water to lethal doses of ultraviolet light, killing, sterilising or otherwise irreparably damaging many micro-organisms. Your fish tank water is pumped past the UV light which is sealed inside a quartz glass sleeve which is designed to allow the maximum amount of UV to pass through the water. Maintaining the filter is very simple. The separate inlet and outlet taps allow you to easily remove the filter and transport it away from your aquarium fish tank to an area more suitable for cleaning. Each filter media basket lifts smoothly out of the unit and can be easily rinsed through and returned to continue its operation.

The filter is supplied with white filter floss pads in each of the baskets, but no other filter media is supplied and will need to be purchased separately if required.
