- Custom-sized, it fits perfectly inside the filter chamber to prevent debris bypass.
- Rinse the foam pad thoroughly before first use and place in the empty filter compartment.
- Rinse the foam pad each month, in tank water (Not tap water) to preserve the good bacteria.
- Replace when the water circulation slows noticeably, also replace it when it becomes worn, does not bounce back into shape when squeezed, or starts to tear.
