200gpd 4 Stage Reverse Osmosis RO Unit with Optional DI Chamber

Finest Filters 200gpd RO Unit. This unit comes with 3 pre filters (5 Micron Sediment, Carbon Block filter and Granular Carbon GAC filter cartridge). It is also supplied with 2 x 100gpd membranes, making this a 200 gallon per day unit.

This unit comes complete with all filters and accessories to be run out of the box, although it can also be supplied with optional extras when ordering.

Option 1: Water Feed type. Please select either a self-piercing feed valve (for tapping into a 15mm copper pipe, left in below image), or a 3/4" BSP screw in connector (for connecting to a garden tap or washing machine Y adapter, right in below image).

Option 2: This unit can also be converted into a 5 stage unit with the addition of an optional DI stage. By adding on a DI stage to the unit, this will further reduce the contaminants in the water, providing ultra pure water. The optional DI chamber reduces the TDS (total dissolved solids) in the RO water.

Option 3: (Optional TDS Meter) A TDS meter is considered vital when running an RO unit by measuring the total dissolved solids in the water. This gives an indication as to the quality of the water being produced. A TDS meter will also allow you to determine when the filters or DI resin in the RO unit need changing. We can supply this unit with a HM digital Inline TDS meter (permanently installed on the ro unit, and measures the TDS of both the in and out water supply, left in below image), or a HM digital handheld TDS meter, which allows you to take quick and easy readings of the water quality (right in below image).

Considerations before buying a Reverse Osmosis unit:

• The process of producing RO water is very slow due to the intensity of the filtration process.
• For an RO unit to be able to produce pure water, it needs to reject the majority of the water that goes into it. You will tend to get around 1 part pure water to 4 parts waste water. For example, every 10 litres of water that goes into the unit, you will get around 2-3 litres of pure RO water and the other 7-8 litres would go to waste.
• This RO unit is purely for producing pure RO water. If you are using it for producing drinking water, you will need to remineralise the water before drinking due to the purity of the water the unit produces.
• Due to the time it takes to produce RO water, If the water is going directly to a tap, you would also need a Pressurised Storage Tank so you always have water on hand ready for when the tap is opened.
