Ista Bio Sponge Filters (2 Sizes)

Ista Bio Sponge filters are compact air driven sponge filters ideal for small to medium sized aquariums. These can provide mechanical and biological filtration with low water flow, making them ideal for slower moving fish such as fighters and discus.

The foams included are of a very fine grade which them perfect for small shrimp and fry.

Made from high quality durable plastic, these have an adjustable outlet for both flow direction and outlet height.

They are useful as a breeding filter or as a secondary filter in the aquarium. These sponge filters can also be used as pre filter to an external filter inlet pipe.

We have these available in two sizes, Small and Large (see dimensions below). Please select the size from the dropdown menu when ordering.

Both models connect to 4/6mm airline.
