Our UVC clarifiers modify the tertiary and the quaternary structure of the algae proteins by means of UV-radiation. This means algae is destroyed and can be removed by the pond filter.

Features Of The Pressurised Pond Filter With UV Steriliser

The pond filter comes with a range of impressive features, all of which promote water health by removing contaminants with the UV steriliser. Some features include:

The filter has a modern flush back function that can be adjusted by flicking a switch. It has two functions which include:
1. Switch position "Filter"
This is the normal filter operation - the water passes through the pressure pond filter with the help of a pond pump and returns cleanly into the pond.
2. Switch position "Clean"
By turning on the cleaning mode, the inner sponges will begin to rotate and clean the inside of the filter. During and after the cleaning, the dirty water is drained by a connection to the outside of the pond area.

When deciding which filter to get, the biggest factors to consider are the size of your pond, how many fish there are in your pond, and the area around your pond where the filter will be placed. The good news is that these filters are available in 8 different sizes in order to match all ponds. They are also suitable for ponds which are up to 80,000 litres.
