Ista Shrimp Soil - Aquarium Substrate
The Ista water plant shrimp soil is specially formulated to pH level of 5.5 to allow optimal rooting and growth of aquarium water plants, and also providing an ideal environment for shrimp. This soil substrate is specially made from natural earth elements, and contains trace elements and creates ideal growth conditions for aquarium water plants.
This soil substrate is available in two sizes (1-3mm and 4-6mm) and in 2L or 9L bags. Please see pictures and select the size required from the drop down menu when ordering.

Please also select the bag volume. We have small 2 litre bags and large 9 litre bags available.
This substrate will stabilise pH levels to 5.5, so is ideal for shrimp aquariums. The soil will also stabilise the KH level and reduce NH3 and NH4.
This substrate does not need to be washed before use, and can simply be placed straight into the aquarium. It will not cloud the water and the soil will maintain its shape for a long time.
