Hidom Small Aquarium Fish Breeding Box Fry Tank Hatchery - BX-002

These breeding traps are great for fish to breed in, isolating agressive (e.g betta splendens) or weak/injured fish or for pregnant live bearers to give birth to their baby fry in.

This model is 125mm long x 70mm wide x 72mm deep.

There is a compartment for the adults and a removable shelf which has holes that allow the babies to fall through into the bottom of the trap.

Also great for sick or injured fish as you can keep them in there until they have recovered.

The hatchery has side and bottom vents to allow optimum water flow. Warm, oxygenated water from main aquarium enters the breeding box through the slatted sides.

Comes with lid and partition shelf, and also includes suckers for attaching to the inside of the aquarium if you do not want the trap to be free-floating.
