The new Hidom range of wavemakers are ideal for creating water flow in your aquarium to eliminate dead spots and provide vital flow for corals and filtration through live rock. Wavemakers are considered vital in marine tanks for this reason but are also frequently used in large freshwater tanks to provide extra flow and keep waste in suspension so that it can be removed by the filtration system.
The WM-401 wavemaker pumps 48,000l/h through four heads, and is suitable for tanks 300 litres + in size.

These brand new model wavemakers are available in a choice of 3 sizes – (WM-401 with a flow rate of 12,000l/h, WM-402 with a flow rate of 24,000l/h and WM-404 with a flow rate of 48,000l/h). Please Note: these are very high powered wavemakers and move a lot of water. The flow rate is very high on these pumps, so we do recommend using them in aquariums smaller than 120 litres.
This new design boasts 360 degree rotation to allow a full range of flow directions inside the aquarium.
