The Boyu DB series represent Boyu's latest range of quality protein skimmers, offering a lot of advantages over the older DB series protein skimmers.
Protein skimmers can be used in marine (saltwater) aquariums only, and they effectively remove dissolved organic waste from the water column. These skimmers are complete with needle wheel venturi pumps for maximum efficiency. These skimmers are suitable for use in a sump tank. They cannot be hung on the side of the aquarium.

2. High capacity collection cup for skimmate with easy drain valve, to allow easy emptying of waste whilst keeping skimmer cup in place.
3. Energy efficient pump fitted with needle wheel impeller - for very fine bubbles in the reaction chamber for maximum waste removal.
4. Bubble silencer on air intake. Allows skimmer to run quieter than other models without this feature.
5. Full UK version product with 3 pin UK plug.
