About the self-cleaning CPA Pressurised Pond Filter:

Filtration is an essential part of keeping your pond healthy and free of algae and other contaminants. If a proper filtration method isn’t in place, your pond will become dirty and dangerous for your fish. This filter is part of a new generation with a high flow rate and an indicator for pollution levels.

The CPA pond filter uses both mechanical and biological cleaning methods. Microorganisms settle on the filter material and remove germs and bacteria from the water. The UVC clarifiers modify the tertiary and the quaternary structure of the algae proteins by means of UV-radiation. This means algae is destroyed and can be removed by the pond filter.
