5 Metre Roll of Filter Wool - 12-15mm Thick

Our filter wool is totally aquatic safe, and is not treated with any chemicals, so it will not harm your fish. This filter wool works on the principle of electrostatic attraction. This is where the waste particles from your aquarium or pond water will stick to the filter wool like a magnet. This method of filtration is very effective at removing fine waste particles from the water column.

Our filter wool can be used within internal filters, external filters, and all types of pond filter. This filter wool can be used in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. Simply cut the filter wool to size using scissors. This item is packaged in a large grip seal bag, which compresses the product slightly, for ease of storage.

Finest-Filters sell five thicknesses of filter wool, (5-8mm, 12-15mm, 18-22mm, 25-30mm and 35-45mm). Our filter wool is available in different roll lengths. Please see our other items if you require a different thickness or roll length.
