Finest Filters 20” Jumbo (4.5” Wide) filter set (1 x 5 Micron Sediment, 1 x Carbon Block Filter). A suitable replacement for all larger diameter housings. Commonly referred to as ‘big blue’ housings.
Sediment Filter:
Excellent choice cartridge for filtering Spring / Well / Hard Water (installed after the pump and before the water softener if there is one installed).
Used as a pre-filter protector of any UV filter, water softener or other system for added protection against particle build-up such as sediment, rust, dirt and muck.
Also ideal for filtering aquariums, ponds/Koi etc.
PLEASE NOTE: These are 4.5” wide filter cartridges, and not standard 2.5” width. Please ensure this is the correct size when ordering.
Carbon Block Filter:
Finest Filters 20” Jumbo (4.5” Wide) carbon block filter cartridge. A suitable replacement for all larger diameter housings. Commonly referred to as ‘big blue’ housings. This filter cartridge reduces levels of Chlorine up to 99%, Organic Compounds and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).
5 Micron rated particulate filtration also removes levels of rust, dirt, sand and sediment particles to 5 Micron in size, for greater water clarity.
